Maybe stating the obvious here: their interests are more aligned with Trump than with Bernie.

We desperately need electoral reform. There’s no issue with moderates existing. The issue is that currently the choice is either moderates or fascists. And the fascists are quite adept at portraying the moderates as authoritarian communists.

I’ll admit it’s a bit of hyperbole but the amount of effort they put into shutting Bernie out left me with quite the sour taste.

He isn’t in the DNC and they still include him in their presidential primaries, if anything it seems unfair how much preferential treatment he gets compared to other third parties.

They didn’t include him out of kindness but because excluding him would alienate a huge part of their base. They publicly let him in and then behind the scenes made sure he wouldn’t get far.

Recent events have shown clearly how much more public support Bernie is able to pull compared to those deluded old establishment types in the DNC. Schumer keeps yapping the same old platitudes while their numbers keep falling. Meanwhile Bernie’s selling out stadiums even in red states.

He did get far. Millions of people voted for him, he won many districts, and then lost the primaries due to the fact that millions more people voted for Hillary and for Biden.

Yes, people ended up voting for Hillary and Biden after the DNC tipped the scales in favor of Biden and Hillary. Maybe the DNC should give him an equal opportunity.

What a profound lack of class consciousness and knowledge of political repression.

You’re defending the establishment dems while they collaborate with fascists by standing in the way of anyone who tries to resist. You’re the one ignoring reality, but sure, keep playing dead. That’ll really show 'em.

Got a more specific example to work with? We can just slander each other all day, you’re a buffoon who refuses to believe we had a truly better if not perfect choice and collectively are just a bunch of asshats.

We’ve been over this before, no point in rehashing it. That you consider Harris to be anything close to a “perfect choice” is enough on its own to tell me you’re not reachable.

I genuinely don’t think so. I just think they’re incompetent when dealing with Trump.

(Edit: meh, I’ve seen what makes you cheer)

They’re not incompetent, they’re complicit. They care more for their career and finances than they do for any cause.

Yeah. Can’t expect a politician to know what it means to vote for or against a law, or candidate. That is just a level of incompetency. Totally isn’t complicity to vote alongside Trump…
