This is probably my biggest pet peeve about the game. You can only finagle corners by glitching foundations into each other. Just feels horrible. There are many tutorials about in on YT.

Twitter normalized of extremely simplistic expression of complicated issues which leads to all kinds of kneejerk reactions. Some men misinterpret whatever complaint as being about them and turn defensive, and of course the most aggressive of those voices are amplified by social media. The inflammatory comments beget more inflammatory comments, reasonable people quickly exit the space and this is what you end up with.
I firmly believe it’s social media that’s to blame.
I mean yeah absolutely protest your bosses unethical behavior but don’t be surprised if they then kick you out. But that’s good, more media coverage for your stated goal.
I wasn’t aware they considered Zionist a negative term. I was under the impression they were proudly Zionist.
I was going to immediately mention Hollow Knight but I see someone already did. Second thought: Tunic. It’s been a long time since a game hit me as hard as those two.
For pure fun addictive gaming: Factorio is absolutely nuts. 2D survival craft platforming action: Terraria is still king.
For space empire building check out X4: Foundations, after almost 10 years under development it’s absolutely amazing (but a huge timesink haha)
Oh and if you’re into semi-hard-scifi basebuilding you could give Stationeers a look. Sunk quite some hours into that one.
It’s trickling down folks. If Ubisoft can pocket 20% more profits for their games that means you the gamer will get 20% more updates for your favorite games. Really, that’s how it works.
2024 and we’re still dealing with “dey took ur jerbs”
For years if not decades Israeli hardliners have been using Nazi style rhetoric describing Palestinians as subhuman. It’d be a joke if it wasn’t so horrifying.
Unironically I expect this to be the case. These “soldiers” in large part are young folks brainwashed by an extremist government and, to some extent, broader extremist society. There are going to be some of them who looking back later in life are going to be rightly horrified by their own actions. This is breeding a whole new generation of severely messed up people on both sides.

Also overly intensive farming, especially cattle farming, is destroying the little bit of nature we have.
6 years of evil medical school doesn’t qualify as professional credentials? Also I’d put Dr. Phil below most of these guys, although maybe slightly above Hannibal Lector still.
Yeah agreed, all life is sacred except the ones we don’t like.
I don’t like Harris very much. But the fact that half the country is willing to choose a deranged con artist over her is just beyond any rational thought.
And someone that has it permanently tattooed across the better part of the side of their body?
They said the same when the crypto hype came along. If AI dies off there will be other trends in computing that require cutting edge silicon. AI may or may not continue surging but hardware will be needed no matter what. NVIDIA is selling shovels, not panning for gold.
Killing the head of a terrorist organization won’t help if you don’t fix the underlying issues. He will be replaced in short order, usually by someone worse. Likewise this kind of political movement.
What the left in Europe (well in my country at least) still doesn’t understand is that they’re not going to fix this by lecturing the populist voters about how all their thoughts and ideas are wrong.
The register is a tech magazine, so the DIY/3D printed angle is relevant here. It’s also relevant because it would, at least to some degree, allow someone to build it themselves in places where perhaps the legality of self determination is questionable. The Register is not a place where you’ll normally find unnecessary clickbait headlines.
The way the title is worded (“a city where people are expected…”) implies this is referring to people that live in NY. I’d clarify it by saying something like “the only city of which people from the rest of the country are expected to know…”
Man that’s convenient.
