Malcolm-Jamal Warner, the actor perhaps best known for starring in the TV sitcom “The Cosby Show” as son Theodore “Theo” Huxtable, has died at 54.

Warner drowned off the coast of Costa Rica on Sunday, Costa Rican National Police told ABC News. Warner’s official cause of death was asphyxia, police said.

    Wow he was in that hospital show and look in really good shape. Wonder if alcohol was involved?

      Doesnt even need to involve alcohol. If you panic in a rip current, the ocean is going to fucking win 100% of the time. Nature be crazy yo.

      As someone that almost drown in a ripcurrent off of Ghana and Sao Tome very sober both times, it can happen very quickly, and you need help before you even understand what’s happening. In places where beaches aren’t huge and the shelf drops off quickly, you don’t realize you’re on the edge of a dangerous area because it’s unmarked.
