Based on how increasingly user-hostile Windows has been getting lately, I don’t trust it outside of a VM or outside of a second system I don’t care about if I want or need to run it baremetal for some reason, and that includes LTSC.

At least LTSC for now seems to be spared from MS’ worst anti-user atrocities, but there’s nothing saying those SKUs won’t get screwed somehow at some point down the line.

If Elon isn’t a full-blown Nazi, he’s at minimum a Nazi sympathizer. His actions at the inauguration proved where his allegiances lie.

Look who’s talking, mofo… The guy did things that screwed over advertising on the late Twitter.

Bluesky and Pixelfed are pretty good arguments for at minimum logging out of Twitter/Facebook/Instagram if not going all the way and closing your accounts there entirely.

And I bet Meta’s recent Linux crackdown is going to start steering people away from Facebook and Instagram to boot, because what if it doesn’t stop at Linux and goes full-blown mass censorship of anything Meta corporate doesn’t like?
