That is my issue with the settlements. I defeats why they are occupying the land. If you want to annex it, just say so. Don’t pretend it’s for protection then populate it.
Say what? They’re just protecting themselves. It’s not like they’re just terrorists trying to justify their terrorism, so that the support they receive from the US doesn’t get questioned. It’s a matter of life or death. existing in peace, or vanishing. Now tell the civilians to move into the cramped camps so we can bomb them the terrorists.
And of course now you need a new buffer… but it wouldn’t harm anyone to move some people there, they’ll just need a little more buffer.
