I prefer they say it outright. I find the dogwhistling to honestly be worse.
They’re getting tired of following the rules because: THEY ARE ABJECT FAILURES THAT CANNOT GOVERN A HAM SANDWICH
They aren’t interested in governing a ham sandwich. It’s easier to make the ham sandwich impossible to govern by soaking it in poison.
