    Polls do matter, because it won’t go over well to “Mousolini” him if he still has a strong base. But clearly he and Bukele are wary of the growing unrest, or else they would not have separated Garcia from the CECOT gen pop or allowed a photo op.

    We are only 3 months in and he has flinched a few times. There is serious hope that his reign will be much shorter than Erdogan’s, for example, regardless of his personal health.
