And the proof that these people are “barbarians” who “menace our citizens” is that the government kidnapped them and trafficked them into permanent imprisonment in El Salvador. That’s the same amount of proof they’ll produce when they do it to you. It could happen today, and there would be no chance to contact friends and family, or to argue your innocence. Because there has been no due process, and no proof or even accusation of any crime, we have to assume that all of these people sent to prison in El Salvador are innocent, just as you would be.
This is why we have, had, due process, to prevent errors.
