Choosing Saudi Arabia for this is like choosing the US for an international conference on anti-imperialism.

This doesn’t mean shit.
I was raised catholic. It’s basically church doctrine that anyone is a child of God, and pretty much almost anyone can be baptized.
It doesn’t mean you’re not a sinner who’s going to burn forever in hell. It’s just the famous anti-lgbt talking point “hate the sin, not the sinner”.
This will lead LGBT people to a false sense of security before they go straight up to conversion therapy.
Yeah. Like almost zero impact (zero if exclude the creation process and calories you have to eat) and you are a lot more precise, with the only downside being that it takes a bit longer to finish.
Where I live leaf blowers are really rare. I see them as a very unnecessary luxury.
Use the extension and fuck with advertiser algorithms in general. It works both as an Ad Blocker and adds fake clicks and ads. It even has a feature where they show how much economic damage you are causing per page.
There are other tools designed to screw with data collection, but this is by far my favorite.
Yeah, but ecological damage isn’t about CO2. It’s about global ecosystem collapse. Reforestation helps stopping damage to local wildlife, keep bees alive, etc. If we focus only on CO2 we run the risk of falling into technocratic strategies of minimaxing it’s mitigation. All that while ignoring what we are trying to preserve in the first place.
Trees also help lowering local temperature, and a small but significant part of that carbon will be absorbed by fungi and stored bellow the Earth. And with diversity, they can provide resources for communities such as fruits, teas, and other good stuff.
Since we’re talking game theory, a basic rule in any competitive game (from chess to League of Legends) is that focusing on loss prevention is a losing tactic.
We’ve been doing peaceful protest since the beginning of the environmental movement. It’s not getting the goods and the earth is dying. What we need it’s a diversity of tactics.
