It genuinely is getting better. I like the kind of garage rebel feel of it, pretty fun- really reminds me of reddit’s early days, but all good things must come to an end, and even if Lemmy does take off, it will meet the same fate inevitably.

Twitter has/is/was always a cesspit.

This reminds me of when, during the building and development of the Apollo program- electrical engineers were tasked with effectively creating the “software” of the guidance system, and when one of the lead developers told his wife “I’m working on the software for the rocket” She replied “We’re not going to tell people that you’re working in underpants.”

Someday, I’m going to have a girl friend, as strong and physically intimidating as my hamster, Jean Philiep. Until then, I guess I’ll invite friends @_@
