First thing everyone should do on a new phone ( or old phone, any phone )

1. go to Internet & Network Settings

2. Enter “dns.adguard.com” for Private DNS

3. Profit: never see ads anywhere on your phone. Not in apps and in no browser.

It’s as simple as that. That’s all you need, in order too block ads globally.

Iirc there are different DNS servers from adguard with custom filters. Some are more strict and others more loose on the blocking.

This instruction is for Android, since it’s what i use, but I’m sure, similar setting exists in iOS.

I know how that feels. The 2 only cats that i have contact atm, are from a friend. I have known those cats since they were born, for 16 years now. They don’t cuddle, not even with their owner.

They come to greet you, walk in front of every step for a few minutes. Some quick touches are allowed, but no cuddling. Sometimes they sit by my side for hours, but when i try cuddling, they relocate quickly.

They are like a touch repelling entity, one that you try to get hold on, but it automatically tries to evade you the whole time. One of them (Gonzo) even uses the noodlebones tactic, he almost becomes liquid, while getting away from any kind of holding.

It was so frustrating when i got to know them, but i quickly realized that’s just the way they are, no cuddles.

When they see you leaving, they repeat the greeting ritual and stand by the stairs watching until you are out of sight.

I care, because the influence of American politics in other nations politics is undeniable. The shockwaves, caused by Trump’s antics, are perceived around the world. Some countries even had/have Trump likened figures in power. I feel like Maga straight up emboldened right wing parties around the world, to get out of the closet and be more verbatim about their cause.

My main worry is, that it’s something that’s being embraced by a steadily increasing, already big, number of the population, in many countries around the world.

We have a scary political trend here in Germany right now.
