Trans woman | She/her | From Atlanta. 20+ years experience machining. I like to make video edits based on Star Trek, with the occasional meme.
Stop worrying about random downvotes, it will drive you insane. They can even be accidental.
This strip is like a gentle reminder that kids are people.
I think the meme is actually referring to just Nvidia in general on Linux. For some reason I parsed “computer” as “hardware”
Probably referencing the power delivery problems. IIRC, all of the power on the 5090s is being delivered over one wire, making them hot enough to start fires.
Edit: My brain can’t hold context for more than 30 seconds, apparently
Moby Dick. It is free, unnecessarily long, really wordy, and mostly boring.
I have machined a lot, and I mean a lot of aramid filled materials of different kinds in a lot of situations. There is no way, under any circumstances I am letting that stuff near a drinking vessel I actively use, even if it is properly sealed. That shit is like hell on earth to be exposed to.
Especially Konami machines like this. IIRC, they also need to be networked and allowed to call home.
Maybe the answer going forward is to encourage everyone to post. We all thank you dearly for the sequential posts on things like Calvin and Hobbes especially, but it may not need to the post order going forward. You have done excellent and dedicated work. The while Fediverse is better for what you’ve done.
Best of luck, Canada. I’m seeding for you.
In context, this may be the most brilliant gif exchange to ever happen. Thank you.
I think they may have simultaneously tried to make him annoying.
Like Guile’s theme. Oh no, this give me an idea…
I overall enjoyed it. The last season is certainly rough though.
I don’t remember if it is the same company, but there is an episode of The F Word where they taste camel milk and talk about making it viable in the UK.
He looks like he’s kinda enjoying it. But then again he always had that kind of look, at least a little.
He quit social media entirely. It was a whole thing. I linked his blog post below.
Why did you have to make me think about Black Beauty for the first time in decades?
