I know it’s going to last a long time because the old lady said they used it everyday and it still looks practically new

For sure, anyone who has seen some of the videos of drink carts and luggage bouncing off the cabin ceilings during crazy turbulence shouldn’t have any questions about the utility of seatbelts in less than catastrophic events… Which of course is the goal even in ‘crash’ landings. There are crashes where seatbelts would obviously be worthless, but in anything short of that, you’ll be happy that you weren’t in a box with 300 human shaped dice being shaken up.
Basically ‘duty cycle’…same reason electric heaters all put out 1500W but ones for larger rooms are ‘larger’. Big or small, they both put out 1500W, but the small ones can only do it for a few minutes at a time before having to cool off, while the larger ones can run for longer and heat up a big room more quickly.
Imagine that actually goes through and one of the Republicans actually gets a conscience and falls on his sword and throws in for Kamala.
Also a separation so the smell can’t be directly attributed to him.
Not that there isn’t a lot of creepiness going on with this in general, but it wouldn’t be crazy to remodel without emptying a freezer. Assuming they weren’t on top of the rest of the food, stuff in the bottom of a freezer can easily be overlooked for years
Are you that roommate? Or are you saying he tried to set it for 30 seconds?
Hey, where’s all the water going all of the sudden?
This picture of the apparent tornado, with alleged clouds and, i guess, some type of ‘land’ was captured with what has been reported to be a camera of some sort.
There’s no copyright involved in taking a picture of someone, or having a picture of someone… Your tourist pictures are fine. If you publicize then or try selling them, that might be an issue, but making it inconvenient for people to make money off of non-permission photos isn’t really concerning to most people.
Well ‘no benefits’ is a bit of a stretch.
Isn’t that just a different way of answering the question though? Do you think 60 years is the answer but don’t want to say that?
Still doesn’t work in my head…‘GOP candidate tries hijacking Autism even and turns it into campaign fundraiser…gets asked to leave and not return…then tries to do the same thing at a church across the street and gets asked to leave’…
none of that is reflected in that title
Quite likely one feeding the other. He must have learned long ago that he’ll never be able to compete in brains, but money, threats and bravado will get someone like him a lot farther than he’d get otherwise. In the meantime, he may have accidentally convinced himself that his level of knowledge actually is big and beautiful and anyone who claims to know more is just bullshitting like he is.
Seems like a reasonable chance, kind of the first universal end, and it doubles as a two sided option. Micro was nearly there if it hasn’t been so horrid on the physical hardware side.
Except that isn’t even safe, just paranoid. Sometimes accidents happen because you’re trying to prevent accidents
There’s obviously been a drop in his coherence, but it’s not like he was smart and now he’s dumb… He’s always babbled bullshit at a 5th grade level at best, he’s just had enough money and undeserved confidence behind him that he could mostly muddle through an interview just sounding smarmy and punchable… Now he’s also dealing with dementia to the point where he literally can’t remember what he started bullshitting about.
Do you have any hints at what would make you consider him not stupid, historically? Being confident and narcissistic, and even talented at bullshit doesn’t make you smart. And recognizing weaknesses in the system isn’t really smart, even if it is perceptive, when those weaknesses are really just strong arm tactics that happen to be available to him through brazenness, inheritance, litigation, cruelty and others recognizing him as a convenient money laundering option.
That’s not a good parallel, it’s the politically ‘motivated’ part he’s referring to. If someone is being prosecuted because they’re running for office, and you have a legitimate argument that if they had chosen not to run for office the charges would have been dropped, it’s legitimate to say it’s politically motivated.
On the other hand, if your crime was literally campaign finance crimes and voter manipulation, there’s a reasonable argument that ‘politically motivated’ isn’t necessarily a bad thing here. If you did a political crime, and seem likely to continue to be politically motivated to commit more crimes, it kind of makes sense that prosecuting you with a tiny bit of political intent isn’t totally unreasonable.
To be fair, it is the united ´states´, not the united ´people living on the continent´. It wouldn’t be any more fair if California was making the decisions for 20 other states, just because they happen to have a crap load of people. The federal government is kind of supposed to be making decisions and maintaining things between states, not all these decisions affecting the people so directly.
