Curious as to why that would be the case. Unless people are starting videos, letting them buffer, then reloading and doing it again.
It should be the same amount of bandwidth, otherwise, right?

- Biden is old, so is Trump
- Biden struggles speaking cohesively, so does Trump
- etc.
So I’ve toyed with buying a dryer, but I never really understood a good workflow. Do you dry a spool right before you start printing with it?
What about storing spools? Is it sensible to leave them in “regular” storage before going into the dryer? Or should I be looking at having multiple dryers to keep more spools from getting wet. And at that point should I just be looking to make a more practical storage solution for many spools?
While it’s amusing that it feeds these Onion articles, it’s also a bit worrying when the search queries are worded in such a way that allows for such stark confirmation biases.
It’s very similar to asking ChatGPT the same question phrased differently and getting entirely different answers.
17·6 months agoSo I missed it the first time. But the title is “A The Lord of the Rings Game”. Assumedly to maintain copyright, they did not drop the “The” from “The Lord of the Rings” even though they started with “A”
93·6 months agoInteresting how insurance companies demand restrictions to “special enrollment” periods or specified times to begin coverage. It’s a tactic to prevent people from beginning coverage before taking on significant healthcare costs and then cancelling after their treatment is finished.
But yet, an insurance company is able to change coverage without following similar practices? Is just about as close to a bait and switch as you can get.
2·6 months agoWhat’s amusing to me is that they referred to the job interviewer having similar reliability, but didn’t say whether it was good or not. Purely let the bias of the article imply that they were highly reliable.
8·7 months agoAgreed. For the other side of the Atlantic, it is ground or 1st floor, 2nd floor.
While in principle, I don’t disagree. If you’re impaired, you shouldn’t drive. I lost a parent after they were hit by a drunk driver.
However, there are monstrously different amounts of impairment. You have reaction times and motor skills, decision making and judgement, awareness and attention.
Implying any type of impairment to be an unequivocal “no” to driving is short sighted, in my opinion. It’s the easy argument to point at any mind-altering substance: caffeine, tobacco, or antidepressants could be classified an impaired driver.
It’s also worth pointing out that even different emotions could dramatically alter driving performance. Not that we would ever think about restrictions on crying while driving.
