I would love to meet a typing dog. I wonder what it would be like.
You’ve had two people who’ve tried to help you now, because you’re comments are clearly coming from a perspective of a person “without piracy experience” (your words).
My guy I probably have more experience with this than you do. I’ve been doing it for literally years. The only thing I haven’t used is usenet. I might one day but the only advantage I can see is more consistent download speed.
No idea what you’re talking about. I was genuinely trying to provide advice and assistance.
Really? You talk as if I have no understanding of basic computer terminology like SSL. Like I know these things are encrypted. If you didn’t realize this bittorrent protocol can also be encrypted. Dosen’t stop them seeing who you are connecting to. Since piracy websites are banned you would have a hard time even accessing them without a VPN. Even if they can’t see what you’re downloading specifically they can still see you are accessing a piracy website - imagine trying to use that defense in court.
figure out the problem with using BitTorrent or uTorrent on you’re own
I was refering to the proctol. You can just say bittorrent since it’s a protocol. I don’t use either of these clients specifically I mainly use qBittorrent.
What problem are you even referring to?
I don’t generally like being talked down to.
It’s weird you’re recommending advanced tools like Prowlarr to someone without piracy experience. I have used other programs from the Servarr suite like Sonarr and Radarr with BitTorrent and found them to be generally more trouble than they are worth.
The whole reason you get a VPN for piracy is to stop you’re ISP from seeing what you are doing. It also allows you to easily unblock indexer websites. What you are suggesting isn’t a replacement for a VPN in anyway and is likeley to lead to you getting caught and potentially banned by you’re ISP.
You realize this still exposes the fact you are visiting piracy sites?
Yeah Apple products aren’t exactly durable. Still I hope you have a service contract with razor.
You can run Windows on Apple Silicon in a VM. These people are just wrong. Also Windows for ARM exists.
This is hilariously wrong. I have run virtual machines on Apple Silicon myself. They literally built a virtualization framework for the product in question.
My god you’re calling me a fanboy long after I sold the only Apple device I owned. Like it’s actually hilarious in how off the mark you are. It wasn’t long ago I was getting downvoted on Reddit for suggesting someone not buy their girlfriend a macbook.
I am well aware of the compatibility issues, it’s why I sold my M1 machine. The thing is you were specifically talking about Windows as an example of something that needs emulation, which it doesn’t. It’s specific applications that need “emulation”, which isn’t even a normal emulator. For macOS applications they mainly use static recompilation, and for Windows apps dynamic recompilation (dynarec) is used. Windows for ARM translation layer basically acts like a JIT compiler.
Apple’s implementation is actually shockingly good because they built an x86 like memory coherency mode into the M family SoCs (specifically in the performance cores) and because they are using the static recompilation that I mentioned. Apps running in a Windows for ARM VM couldn’t use that last time I owned a MacBook.
Nope, they use Windows for ARM
You can run virtual machines on Apple Silicon. I have done it myself. Also Razer are known for bad reliability.
Don’t know why people are downvoting you here. This OSI definition definitely isn’t modern and doesn’t match what people expect when they see open source.
It is lower audio quality, higher latency, less reliable, causes more interference for wireless networks and other devices. It’s also less secure. Those are just the reasons I can think of right now.
Bare in mind the nearest ground is also in the power strip. It probably wouldn’t go anywhere near the people. Since you also now have a short circuit it would probably trip the breaker depending on the conductivity of the water.
A human body wouldn’t conduct that much current with mains voltage. It’s just too high resistance.
Also pretty sure they mean breakers with GFCI as is required in some countries. If they just mean regular circuit breakers then yeah they are fucked.
Although tbf since it has both neutral and live in the strip it would probably short and not even reach the people. As in almost no current would go through them because ground is right next to it. This would in turn cause the breaker to trip without even a GFCI getting involved potentially.
For lots of people even survival is difficult is the point
Why not go further and hardwire?
Flu shots are only given to the elderly and vulnerable where I live. It’s weird to see people talking about getting the flu shot like it’s a normal thing.
Glad you learned something. Normally this is where I get told that the marxist version of the term is wrong or dumb even though it’s closer to the original meaning than the modern definition.
I am sure the authors of Merriam Webster don’t mean anything harmful. Dictionaries update their definitions based on how they see the term being used, and many modern people don’t respect the original meaning of the term. In political circles we still use the original meaning. You can see why this causes confusion.
Aw, who’s a good keyboard doggo? Ow yes, yes you are!
