4. I think both Kira and Gwyn seem pretty down to earth and would have interesting stories and opinions on various topics. Not overly dramatic nor boring. Would know when to shut up. I would enjoy hearing advice Kira would give to Gwyndala as a young woman growing into her own. Neither companion would be overly boastful, maybe a tad critical, but their struggles bring an interesting angle on how they view life.

Babylon 5 came out about the same time as Star Trek DS9. The first season is sometimes hard to get through, but well worth it. The character development and storylines are mostly excellent as they grow and intersect throughout the show. Season 5 can take or leave.

Farscape is another one where some people are turned off by the Jim Henson puppetesque characters. Another older show but has some great storylines and character development.

Red Dwarf, older British Humor, silly.

Agreed. Had a hard time pushing through season 1 but when the link between season 1 and season 2 occurred, I was hooked. Great overarching and intertwining storylines with amazing character development.

IMO watch the first 2 seasons. If it doesn’t move you by then, it probably won’t and you can say you’ve given it a fair shot.

Hoping that Corepunk isn’t dead. It was looking great in development, but the main dev team was in Ukraine. Was supposed to have CBT last year. Every so often would get breadcrumbs of the work they were doing but it seems to have fallen off. Totally understandable knowing their whole lives and families were impacted by the Russian invasion and continued destruction of Ukraine. Hoping that once they are able to get a semblance of normality back into their lives they will still want to finish the project.

I’d be surprised if this is a rising trend knowing how the cost of eggs has increased over the last couple of years. Just seems like a terrible waste.
