Most of the people I hear who are bothered by Biden’s chances aren’t talking about Trump’s policies, age or lack of cognitive ability not because they support Trump, quite the opposite. They are scared of a second Trump presidency and are scared that the DNC will drop the ball again, fumble the election by sticking with a poorly liked candidate and they’ll have to suffer the consequences of America veering headfirst towards fascism. There’s no point to mentioning Trump’s similar or more dire issues, because he was never an option to them to begin with.

I don’t have faith that the DNC actually cares about the looming threat of fascism, the threat to civil liberties, etc, I think they saw how much in donations they got during the last Trump presidency and the surge in popularity even their most milquetoast center left candidates got and they think they can ride the wave for 4 years.

Bidens admin has done a lot of good and the DNC has been dogshit at demonstrating that with effective messaging. He’s also done a lot of things I find abhorrent and in a just world, neither candidate should be eligible as they’d be locked away in The Hague. But that isn’t the case, this is America, and I think the powers that be are willing to risk the election to save face.

Heck, it partially feels like Biden was put up as an option because he can lay claim to some of the Obama legacy and the DNC is trying to chase the '08 popularity of Obama.

I think most people expected Trump to be a blathering insane idiot and so when he avoids questions to rant about something nonsequitor and bizarre its “normal”. Anyone with all their mental faculties should be able to run circles around someone like Trump.

People are disappointed that Biden is in such shambles as they were hoping he’d be able to debate against a brain-worm ridden bigoted chatterbox and he dropped the ball so fucking bad and now they’re worried about the future of democracy in the country

Both candidates belong in a nursing home and no where near public life. One looks like they’re hardly awake the other can’t form a sentence that makes any sense.

I think the Dark Souls games have kinda earned an undue reputation for being unapproachably hard. They’re really not all that tricky once you learn that death isn’t a huge loss condition, just a step in the journey. I initially found them frustrating, but once I learned to not be bothered by dying and simply try again, I found an immense joy in exploring the worlds and challenges within.

Some bosses I beat first try, others will take me an afternoon or a few days to beat, but I have fun with it either way. Different strokes for different folks and all that, but I think Dark Souls and it’s like are good lessons on how to get over feeling bad about “losing” and just enjoy the game.

Plus, you can always explore areas to gather up whatever you need to level up and slowly get marginally stronger as you become more familiar with your character and tweak it to your liking.

I think AI can take far fewer jobs than people will try to replace with AI, that’s kind of the issue

The response that it’s too hard has been weird to me. I’m not very good at these sorts of games but it hasn’t been terribly tricky compared to other parts of the base game. And I’m having a lot of fun with it.

I do think the advice of taking advantage of the balancing mechanics they literally put in the DLC to make it challenging and help mitigate that is solid.
