As a member of the south, I can say with confidence: You do NOT want the south to sit down and discuss anything… The results would be disastrous.
I’m definitely not a Linux expert, but I found that being logged in locally and remotely with the same user account will cause this. Try setting up unique accounts for local\remote.

I honestly don’t think it matters at this point. The company that publishes the app has all of your data. Almost any big publisher will sell all of the data they collect. Once it is sold, it can be resold. Even if it isn’t sold, high profile hacks are dime-a-dozen these days. Assume anything you put into an electronic device will, eventually, make it’s way into an open database someday.
