Yeah, also seeing that other post using the same “animated” Lwaxana really made me think I was missing a layer/reference because I did not know what that came from. So the joke in these posts would have still been exactly the same if you had been able to find a full-length Lwaxana from literally anywhere else. Thanks.

It was less of a “cliffhanger” and more of just an “open ending”. Sure, the story could have gone on for additional seasons in order to resolve the overarching conflict (stuck on a ship away from Earth). But at the same time, season two did have a satisfying, optimistic ending. You were not left with a sense of “oh no, how will they get out of this immediate predicament??” like you generally get with a cliffhanger.
Fortunately, Dexter deals with him good and proper…

The series is almost entirely centered around interpersonal drama. As it progresses, they solve many problems, but still continue to come up with new sources of drama.
They were just aliens. Goa’uld, Ancients, Ori, etc. The franchise made it clear that none were actual gods; they were each just a different species that had abilities and technology that humans do not. And they would often use those to make others think that they were gods.
EDIT: I guess you could argue that Ascension makes one a god
