Exactly the same for me. I was worried people will not get it but it has never been a problem for almost 2 years now.

QuizzaciousOtter@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Fuck AI@lemmy.world•Study: Experienced developers thought they were 20% faster with AI tools, but they were actually 19% slower51·19 days agoThis is the correct approach of course. But tech giants do everything in their power to convince us that we should use AI for everything, including wiping our asses. And there is a significant number of peoople who believe this. So it’s important to check this and spread the word.

I mean, I would say it’s not a half bad thing to build your identity around.
QuizzaciousOtter@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Linux@lemmy.ml•Ghostty in review: how's the new terminal emulator?29·2 months agoSince the review doesn’t mention any downsides I’m gonna go ahead and share one. This might seem like a tiny thing but relatively slow startup turned out to be a total deal breaker for me. In my workflow, I open and close a lot of terminal windows. Sometimes I spawn terminals just for a few seconds to run a single command and then close them. Kitty and Alacritty launch instantaneously whereas Ghostty has a noticeable lag which was just infuriating to me. Also, it doesn’t have any useful (for me) features not present in Kitty so yeah, I guess it’s not for me.

Sometimes it really is much easier though.
To be frank, I definitely did this as tome point and I’m pretty sure I actually did not regret it.
My autistic ass is around 4 months in into eating the same dinner almost every day. And like 3 years into eating mostly the same supper.
Wow, this is so fucking pretty! Unfortunately, I don’t really have a need for local music files player, but I love it.
