1.2 Trillion dollars could build a coast to coast high-speed rail system with spurs through every major city in America.
If the labor force could opt out of the rat race because they didn’t have to work, then they gives them immense power especially considering what they have now. Of course the necessities would have to be controlled in a not-for-profit manner so that you can’t just have some land baron that adjusts the cost of rent and food upward to ensure it eats up all the UBI, same with utilities/internet/etc.
But for consumerist goods that people want because they enhance life, if people could realistically withhold their labor unless the capitalist offered equity etc in industries that produced those things, you would quickly see the power of the leaders of those industries wane significantly.
Maybe the probelm with people’s lives doesn’t have anything to do with the quality of the roads. Maybe the fact that people are dependent on those roads should be examined?
Seems novel. But from a security aspect, if OpenSSH has security vulnerability that allows an unauthenticated user to login, via whatever means, once you are in the system as a non-privileged user, you are now free to use the same vulnerability to get root.
Basically this exercise is like using two locks that have the same key to open them. If the same key opens them, then a weakness in one, is now a weakness in the other so why bother with two identical locks?
It was not. Getting health insurance for an additional 30 million Americans was.
Health insurance is not healthcare, it doesn’t mandate care, and there is basically no relation what-so-ever between having health insurance and getting healthcare.
But have you seen his clothes? Are they not the best most magnificent clothes you’ve ever seen?
The gamergate clickbait is still alive and well I see.
Perhaps the dems should ask themselves why mandatory purchasing of insurance was the pinnacle of their accomplishment in the last 40 years and attempt to examine that.
But sure fully embracing racial taxonomy and spending as much time as possible classifying people based on skin-tone, facial features, phenotypes, skull shape and literally anything besides class might work too. What would I know, I’m not a PMC employed by the DNC.

Methinks you don’t know what you are talking about. The FAA operates in feet. All domestic flights in the US are separated by flight levels specified in feet. If you get your pilots license in America, everything about it from runway length, controlled flight altitudes, wing spans, etc, will be in feet.
For another example, just let me know how many metric units are used here: https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/atpubs/atc_html/chap3_section_10.html
Well considering this event took place in FAA controlled airspace using the official and standard units of altitude for flight characteristics, I’m not sure how to help you.
I guess 400feet = 8.1498E-10au if that helps?
None of your points except maybe number 4 is true.
Jamaal isn’t a fucking “squad member.”
lol I’m as anti-capitalist as the next internet leftist, and I absolutely think it would be fucking awesome if Steam were replaced by a national digital distribution service that have flat costs for publishing, and high quality standards before allowing a game to be published. Gold-digging lawsuits aren’t on the path to that better world though.
Ban credit reports in general. If you aren’t allowed to ban them because of free speech or whatever, then you won’t be able to ban certain components of them by the same logic.
Can’t wait to be told that he is absolutely the best possible person for the job, and that it is absurd to even think about not voting for him despite his stated views. US Democracy is so cool and great.
At least she isn’t blaming internalized misogyny anymore, or having 2nd-wave feminists say women who supported bernie only did so because of their hormones and cute boys. Honestly the fact taht over 8 years later, the establishment websites are still listening to either of the Clinton’s highlights a real problem with the current Democratic party past and future electoral strategy.
You mean the organization that is basically bankrupt and at it’s peak spent 5million dollars over a year lobbying? You think they have more influence then a “video game series” that is owned by a company that has around 25billion in assets?

hahaah. Ok sure you win. Linux TTY’s are absolutely not terminals. Sure they are called terminals, they are for all intents and purposes modern-day terminals with a long and storied history that directly links them to terminals from the 70’s but since they aren’t a physical piece of hardware that electro-mechanically connects to a mainframe, obviously they aren’t really terminals and they should be be called something else.
This has always been the case. There is a specific way that congress can put a check on POTUS. Liberals being told how the government works and has always worked, and suddenly getting upset. I’m sure they will vote harder then they have ever voted before to fix it this time.
