Went to one in Poland a few years ago, and was amazed - firstly - that you could smoke inside there. Second was how well it was handled: the entire ceiling seemed to be extractor fans - could barely see or smell smoke at all.

Nah, I almost enjoy that. Rolling tobacco is about tolerable. Actual cigarettes make me sick
That surprises me, but noted !
My mum kept the triangular one I made her for over 20 years. Still quite proud of it.
Better than Roosevelt?
Depends. If there’s ever been few enough RSVPs Its not worthy of a party, I’ll make a sub-group and suggest something else: cinema trip, pub, or just dinner round mine or something. Yeah, it can feel bad especially when reasons given for not being able to come seem spurious or easily worked around. But then again, sometimes I’m just not in the mood for other people’s parties either.
But like… did this really happen? I never followed any RW accounts and haven’t checked Twitter in a couple of months, so not sure what I’ve missed
I was thinking the same, but the mods would have to be pretty spectacular and game-changing. Not sure why I feel this way, other than having played Fallout 3, NV & 4, and The Outer Worlds has probably worn out my desire for open world shooters
First of their games I didn’t even bother buying.
They are confusing, but I can at least find them eventually. I can’t remember exactly what it was that the problem was with my last Linux install… I think my secondary monitor was stuck at 640x480 resolution or something, and I couldn’t find a way to fix it that didn’t involve the command line
I’ll start using Mint… heck, any version of Linux… as soon as they introduce a proper UI for a plethora of system settings. If I ever have to use a command line for anything but THE most esoteric, potentially system-damaging scenarios, the O/s has failed in my book. (Windows user since 3.1, never lasted more than a day with Linux)
My kid got into Snake Clash, and the amount of Ads especially of the “watch to win” type are ridiculous. Changed my routers DNS settings just so they could play the game ad free. Sadly, it now means progress is behind a relentless grind, cos you have to manually earn every single upgrade
