What’s funny is that i interpreted the changes shown in the meme as making it softer on Israel. First edit removes the reference to the school, second edit changes the number of people killed from a big number “over 100” to a fuzzy amount “scores” that is easier to underestimate.

It’s since added that information back in, but in the meme it looks like it’s trying to make Israel look as not-bad as possible.

Naturally it would be preposterous for him to be on the ticket for President, but the reason they continue to let him run for Congress is because he counts towards the Dems in terms of determining which party has the majority and therefore sets the agenda for that chamber of Congress. Without him, that particular part of WV would almost certainly go to the GOP and tip control of the Senate firmly in their favor.

It’s a deal with a devil, and one that has burned the Dems more than once. But without him we’d probably be completely fucked.

As you said, their job is to manage sources, which includes knowing with sources are reliable and which sources to look at for certain types of information.

Politicians can be made to care by threatening their jobs, but the police still don’t give a shit about catching the right person as long as they can put somebody behind bars by any means possible.

My kid and a bunch their friends deal with it, and I and many others are there to help them. And it sucks for them BIG TIME. It’s hard, even with supportive family and friend groups. My kid had two classmates just this year lose their lives to suicide due to LGBTQ hate.
