Road distances are in miles if you’re driving, but if you’re running (maybe also cycling?) then it’s in km.

Next is the Doubly Extended Three Letter Acronym.
And it’s not even that hard, just try the sentence with he/him to test it out:
Who lives above? He lives above.
Whom is this for? This is for him.
“I might try to put up a (compliant) post a day for a half-fortnight”?
It’s an ad in your post, fittingly (although yours isn’t particularly ironic).
Do you know of oulipo.social? No fifth symbols found on all of that domain.
I’m not a regular there any more, but I feel like there’s more “natural” spam posts nowadays. They’re not natural enough that they haven’t prompted me to check the account’s post history (all mention product x, of course).
Edit: e.g. this one
If this is an example of the AI, it’s not very good.
If I’m remembering it right, the Entwives preferred to garden, whereas the Ents preferred thing wild and untamed* so they both lived in different parts and visited each other. Then one day then Ents visited to find only barren lands where the gardens had been. The Ents searched but never found out what happened.

I keep seeing stupid, seemingly very person-specific definitions get the votes, stuff like “John: a really sexy, clever boy that all the girls want to be with”
Oh whoops, I should close some windows, because I currently have 623 open tabs in Firefox across 107 windows. It’s working fine, even with all my plugins running. Firefox is good at unloading dormant tabs.
I liked when the US National Honey Board funded a study that compared honey, cane sugar, and HFCS and found they’re all about the same (and all raised a key blood fat, a marker for heart disease).
Of course, the truth is that sugar’s sugar and you should have limited amounts of it, but when it’s as cheap as HFCS is in the States, they can stick it in everything.
Apart from OP’s picture missing the 's on Kelley’s, it seems genuine due to the matching inconsistent use of capitalisation.
I’ve had that before and I’m very confident the password was correct - my theory is that they’d changed how non-ASCII characters like £ were handled and their code only half recognised my password.
I thought it was tuna (or other sashimi) with a little fat on it. Either way, that emoji does not convey my reaction at all.
I don’t often eat these nowadays, but if you remind me that they used to be called Opal Fruits they taste better.
I thought at some point they were calling 720p “HD ready” and reserving “HD” for 1080p. It’s all a bit of a mess, but that’s pretty standard for tech names, as well as the TLAs, ETLAs and DETLAs.
@[email protected] Perhaps we need to bring over the Old Reddit Switch-a-roo.
In addition, the “Search Bar” settings in Settings > Search, which let you choose between using the address bar for search and navigation or add the search bar in the toolbar, is also gone in Firefox 122.
This doesn’t affect me, but I’m sure there’s going to be a vocal tiny percent that absolutely hate this news.
Americans visited the UK during WW2’s rationing and never updated their stereotypes.
