Different chili varieties definitely have their own flavors. Even blindfolded you’d probably be able to tell apart sauces made with poblanos vs banana peppers (both can have basically zero heat).

Chilis have a natural variation in heat, which depends a lot on growing conditions. Jalapeños can range from ~2000 to 8000 scovilles. The hotter ones don’t taste different, they just have more capsaicin. That molecule itself has no flavor, it just triggers the heat receptors in your cells.
Maybe your perception of the heat has gotten entangled with the flavor so cognitively one is less satisfying without the other. But that’s specific to your perception and not how it works at the chemical level of the plant or human sensory cells.
So buy the regular variety? They’re far easier to find.
I needed this. Thanks.
Even better, bananas foster flavor
I’m honestly not sure. Nick didn’t publish anything for like 10 years but then some more comics tickled out for a while and stopped again. Maybe there’s an interview somewhere.
Ah, nice to see this Perry Bible Fellowship classic. Always a favorite.
Yeah I’m from the Great Lakes region and it’s so weird. I enjoy fried chicken, I dig waffles… even maple syrup on them is fine (though honey is better on chicken, esp truffle or hot honey).
But putting them together is like basically having double the breading on the chicken, except one half is crispy and the other half is all spongey and wrong. It dilutes the flavor of the chicken, and then why would I ever want a meaty waffle? The sum is far less than the parts IMO.
Um, Tikka Masala is basically the national dish of the UK, they definitely enjoy flavor and spices in all kinds of curry dishes too
AFAIK anyone can go fully nude in most public spaces in Germany. It’s actually kind of weirder to not allow it and carve out arbitrary exceptions if you think about it.
But he’s not a human being, he’s a comic character.
I disagree.
There’s probably a better argument that either:
Political assassinations (as a subset of misnamed ‘vigilante justice’) are never good and we shouldn’t reinforce that precedent, or
That person would be a hero to the planet and the future, not just present day America.
You know it’s a good award when someone busts out a heptagram.
It is estimated that there are well over 400 different types or varieties of dry beans grown throughout the world.
So I guess you could say the response was… swift
Yeah but like any successful politician he’ll readily compromise his principles in order to hold onto power.
Sadly a lot of news outlets don’t make that distinction either.
There’s even a song 😆
But yeah also see Odo’s comment about missions not always ending when expected.
Retro Games Corps got hit, even though Russ only does legal emulation and backups. It’s his “2nd strike” on YouTube (3rd is channel deletion). He’s always been mindful of the situation and considerate of not spilling games or encouraging anything close to piracy from what I’ve seen.
