That … Sounds like a horrible economy, with a bubble on top of it.
Nope, pass, 0/10, do not want to live there.
Here’s my response
Honestly, I just expect it was someone with a cigarette
Blah, fair enough, that’s what I get for posting before my first coffee.
wonder how the per-capita deaths compare to other provinces, such as BC, Ontario and Quebec
Its not clear if the drive was arested. Hopefully he was!
for sure.
It definitly has a Catch 22, because I dont want to see a snap election, I think the conservitives have too much a chance of forming a government, and as rough as the Liberals can be, the conservitives would be far worse… but we can’t have the NDP just being unwavering support for the Liberals.
Agreed. I’m hoping this is just a shot across the bow.
Defintly seems to be alluding to breaking the rail strike, which is a big deal.
I really worry this will result in a conservative government, however the Liberals cant take the NDP support for granted.
“please sign this form for mondays lesson. Please sign this form for tuesdays lesson. Please sign this form for wednesdays lesson”
“how many forms are there?”
“theres two weeks of discussions, so please sign these 14 forms”
“good news, we made sex-ed opt in, and then we removed accesible condoms… and then made AHS semi-private! On an unrelated note, teen pregnancies and STDs have risen drastically, so we need to bring god back into schools!”
i saw someone who moded an olschool subaru brat into an EV. Said he put a… Leaf battery and motor in it. Was really cool to see!

i would love for my next car to be an EV
It doesn’t need to have 1000km range, or edge to edge touch screens, or anything fancy
Give me something like a subaru impreza, with 300-400km range, and a sunroof.
Now onkly the BC conservatives would do the same thing…
wasted? none of it.
Funneled into his friends? most of it.
yea,
I work in engineering, and pretty much every estimate we do isn’t large enough. Ever project tenders high.
In 2002, Campbell’s Liberal government forecast operational spending of $25.6 billion. Horgan’s first budget forecast spending of $53.6 billion
Wait, the operational budget has increased in 20 years? say its not so! $25.6B in 2002 money is equivalent to $44.71B in 2024 money, so the increase is only $8.9B. Thats crazy good! Cudo’s to the NDP
Even with what you said, that doesn’t change the fact that if OTHER people are taking transit, it still benefits the people who aren’t taking transit, which is what my comment was addressing.
if 10% of people took transit instead of driving, then there would be 10% fewer people on the road, 10% fewer cars in parking lots, 10% less maintenance… all of which benefits you.
Fine should be 10x the amount collected over the fees life time, not a bit over a years worth
