This thread is here to encourage posting works in progress (WIP). Post your works, updates to previous posts, and questions!
This thread is meant to be in addition to posting WIPs as their own threads, so feel free to make stand alone posts if you wish.
Helpful Youtube channels for for new painters:

If there is anything you’d like to see added to painting resources in the opening comment, post away and I’ll take a look.
Ooo, Thanks for this. New to the hobby and there’s a couple channels in that list that I never saw in my searches. Much appreciated. Should hopefully be posting some WIP stuff soon but 12 hour shifts really kills my motivation to finish my combat patrol some days.
Great. I have been meaning to update the list as well, but real life is relentless.
If you have any specific questions, I’m a passable painter who has touched just about every faction, if you’re having specific problems with some workflow. Pictures are always welcome, especially here in the WIP thread!
As for time and energy to paint, sometimes it’s rough. Doing a little bit of grunt work at night like assembly or priming, to help make weekends easier can help. You can also get some super cheap off brand models to keep around as warmups to paint and repaint with no stress.
Nothing much to write abouz, but im looking forward to finish goliath truck and a box of genestealers for kill team.
In the meantime, due to my kids love for Hero Quest, i got WH Quest Cursed City, and im overwhelmed with how much i have to paint now. Any suggestions on how do i speedpaint that box would be appreciated, even though its not 40k
I really wish there was a gallery option to post pictures. Finished up the Knight I’ve been working on. Need to take some good pictures when I have the time. What’s the preferred way to post a string of images on Lemmy? X.x
You can attach multiple images to a single comment by individually adding them.
Otherwise you can make an Imgur or catbox.moe gallery and link it. Those are the methods I know of.
