Here in the fediverse I feel safe, but if I go on twitter, reddit or even once a year on Facebook I regret it every time. I mean even the comments on some articles are cancer and those are moderated because without it would be even worse
Sorry, I don’t mean moderation by mods, I mean moderation by you, the things you choose to follow will change your experience, you can even block specific pages that bring in those comments.
It takes some time to cultivate your experience and learn the voices you want there but once you’ve done it you’ll find the whole thing more positive.
Well then I am in my safe bubble and don’t know what’s happening outside. We are already too convinced that our view is the only possible. This will complicate social interaction in the real world.
That’s a moderation problem, the joy of social media is that you can follow who you like so no toxic people should be on there.
