CEO Mary Barra said the company will drop plans to invest $5 billion to launch several new entry-level EVs (which the market badly needs), and will equip the next-generation Chevy Bolt with lower-cost batteries purchased from China (which could make it ineligible for IRA subsidies).”

Oof. So the next gen Chevy bolt won’t even be on the ultium platform.
