It’s mainly developing by Afritz1 for several years to bring TES Arena to today’s standards as open-source implementation of the original game with C++. Still in development but doesn’t have a gameplay yet. The game is supporting Linux, MacOS and Windows.

Never tried Daggerfall and Arena. I’ve been meaning to start a heavily modded Daggerfall run (there are some really cool mods).
Didn’t know there was something similar for Arena. Maybe by the time I get to it, it will be a in a more mature state.
It went through a long way and improved a lot when compared with the first version of the project. But it’s processing slow probably due to Afritz1 rewriting the engine. I hope to we will have the finished version of the game in some years but I think we won’t see it in a forseeable future to be honest.
