    I have gotten in a rhythm of cleaning the blades each spring/winter when I stop it long enough to reverse the direction.

        Yep. Because one time I stopped the fan, didn’t clean the dust, reversed it, and set it to high. Dust flew everywhere. At least it was a learning experience lol.

      You leave your fan running all day? Like you leave it running when you aren’t even there?

        Literally never turn it off. But it helps circulate the A/C for the dogs, so it’s not uselessly blowing air around when I’m not there to feel it.

        I also work from home, so it’s less wasteful than it sounds. Any extra carbon emissions from running that ~50 watts is more than offset by me not commuting/sitting in traffic every day.
