Oh, you’re lucky too, I made a comment in the beginning of the conversation that could satisfy your curiosity. Granted, it requires to read the whole paragraph of text, so you may never know what I actually mean

Yeah, vaguely gesturing about the difficulties of a party having all 3 branches of government for 4 months and passing legislation that almost helps everyone.

I’m very specifically gesturing at the fact that US government is an insanely complicated thing, that is unbelievably hard to operate, but insanely easy to break, that’s why people who want to use it to achieve anything generally fail, but people who want to break it achieve it with ease.
And that’s only one of the specific things I’m gesturing at, very explicitly actually, nothing vague about my gesturing.

Why didn’t you say that?! I’m over here thinking you’re a troll!

Yes it’s complicated, I agree. My perception of his presidency was that he didn’t try hard enough to get things pushed through.

I know he is a centrist so he would never have pushed for an economic agenda that’s more keynesian. I just wish he fought harder as a president. This is why I think he laid the foundation for Trump’s rightwing populism.
