The Trump administration has transferred hundreds of immigrants to El Salvador even as a federal judge issued an order temporarily barring the deportations under an 18th century wartime declaration targeting Venezuelan gang members.
It hasn’t been for a long time. SCOTUS already declared Trump king, and Congress has completely abdicated its constitutional role to remove lawless presidents.

It’s easy to forget this, since the United States ultimately sided against the Axis powers in WWII, but there has always been a sizeable contingent of full-throated fascism supporters in this country.
They’ve spent decades honing their messaging and figuring out how to break the minds of Americans, and Trump is the culmination of that project.
People forget we were neutral during the start of WW2 and a lot of Americans supported Germany. We also had consecration camps for Asian Americans along with a history of racism against almost every one, including other white races.
