If it was closed source I would agree but you can check for yourself if the code is good. Even if they are crazy.
Telegram is involved with the shadier end of the crypto market, and for a market that’s shady enough as it is without needing a shadier part, it’s pretty damn dark in there.

It isn’t even viable for their uses. They should consider

No I can not. I am not an android-dev, I am not the best dev out there and I don’t have time to thouroughly go through a big codebase. It would defenetly ve possible to hide mallicious code from me, even if I have access to the source-code. For really big projects it is safe to assume other, more knowlegable people have allready audited the code, but for small ones I have to be able to trust the devs.
