        He (the candidate) it just targeting key swing states. That’s not to say others won’t follow and file similar lawsuits which is quite possible. The real question is what happens with them and do they have an real impact.

    This probably won’t work despite the clear language in the Constitution. They are asking very small numbers of people, sometimes singular people in the case of secretaries of state, to disqualify the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination from even being on a state ballot. They would likely be ending their careers and putting themselves and their families at tremendous ongoing risk. That kind of behavior from his supporters is kind of why he should be disqualified in the first place, to be fair, but a huge part of the country truly believes it wasn’t an insurrection at all. This includes people with tremendous power and influence, and also a lot of people with guns and a propensity toward violence.
