Next time you fry up some bacon, put just a little bit of brown sugar on it. Doesn’t take much. I rarely make it because I wouldn’t be able to control myself if I didn’t limit it to special occasions.
I see it ridiculous when compared to products like Tactical Bacon or the Jack’s Links bacon jerky which are probably cheaper (though there’s no price on these shown so that’s just a guess) and have more than 1 slice of bacon in the package. They are also ready to eat straight from the can or bag.
Edit: a 12 pack of these individual things is $26. You get about that much in a single bag of Jack Links for $3. Tactical Bacon no longer is sold, so it’s expensive AF on ebay now. 😵💫

I have a friend who makes sweetened bacon. It is delicious, but that’s the only way I’d eat it. Not this garbage.
Yeah homemade candied bacon is amazing.
Ate honey with beef bacon before and it was pretty good
The bacon at the store means you need to buy the whole pack, cook it yourself, clean up. This is a precooked on the go snack like beef jerky.
Paying a premium per slice for the convenience of the snack.
There are plenty of more convenient snacks that are much less ridiculous
