Edit: I got a comment here to use the RunWith addon. I create a shell script to open images in the preview app.
Sometimes on my Mac I want to open a image that could be opened in a new tab, directly into the Preview app (the default photo viewing app). It would be great if I could have a context menu option when right click images, to open them in the app, I wonder if there’s an addon to do this.
It’s might be in option in the defaults section. Just search defaults in settings
Could be android only though.

Yeah I tried doing this but it doesn’t seem to work. I should reiterate that I want to open only certain images in the preview app.
Click once on a single image. Then right-click and choose Get Info in the pop up menu. Then look towards the bottom for a button that lets you change the app the image will open in. Then choose Photos App for ALL images. Done.
