I hope his “base” of racists, white supremacists, and misogynists ruin his life. Squinty McProudBoy is not what Canada needs.

    This bothers me so much.

I could go on about the people of northern Ontario for a while, I grew up there, and none of that would overlap with what Polievre says.

I hate seeing them used as a tool for the epitome of the elite, and the slimiest politician I’ve ever seen.

I know at least a few lifelong conservative voters who loathe the current Conservative Identity politics right now enough that they aren’t going to vote for them, hopefully there’s enough of them out there to get an actual leader for their party who stands for two things: sound economic policy and not pulling back on the rights of humans for personal advantage.

Life isn’t easy right now, but Polievre isn’t going to make it easier unless you’ve already got a lot of money to donate to him.

He probably got an acting coach and a stylist to build this new, more “appealing” yuck public persona based on some focus groups results. Politics shouldn’t come down to show biz.

It’s a popularity contest for an administrative role. The selection method has little to do with the qualifications needed to succeed, so here we are.
