I’m wondering if anyone here has managed to purchase quality prints of any of the matte paintings featured in star trek? I’ve done a bit of searching online without much luck. I’m finally living in a place where I can hang things on the wall and thought it would be nice to have some framed matte paintings of Bajor, Cardassia and maybe a couple of other worlds. Any help appreciated thanks.

    I remember seeing a few in an auction a while back. Two things I recall:

    1. Very few of them are full rectangular pieces; they have cutouts for filming which detract from them being pieces to hang (though that’s a matter of preference)
    2. Holy hell they were expensive
