The potential charges, says Marianne Lake, CEO of consumer and community banking at JPMorgan, are a result of new regulatory rules that cap overdraft and late fees. Lake says Chase will be passing along those increased expenses to customers, which would put an end to now-free services such as checking accounts and wealth management tools.
Of course, whether those rules will go into effect could depend on the results of the November election. Donald Trump could strike them down or dilute them

Needless to say it’s powerful and thorough.
I mean, this does need to be said. It’s important details I was hoping to learn from the article. Otherwise it’s spooky stories we can’t actually build defenses for.
Bio-neural gel packs here we come.
Rage bait
Article doesn’t really go into how TLOxp can dox/unmask people.
The new vulnerability, assigned CVE-2024-6387, allows for unauthenticated remote code execution (RCE) with root privileges, posing a severe threat to affected systems.
Oh, fuck. Guess this is my day now.
Also, some of these Live Nation places are literally just fucking Old People places, like the local Elk’s Lodge. Nobody is doing wild concerts at the fucking Elk’s Lodge.
Some of the best shows I’ve ever been to were at an Elks or VFW. Often they’re the only venues available in suburban and rural areas. And they’re usually priced reasonably.
