As someone who had surgery here, it was definitely a process. I’m much happier with the end result than I was before the surgery, but they hype up their “world class post op care” which was about as helpful as an auto responder.
99% of the time the answer is the same, dismissing all concerns. It took months before I was referred to someone who could take care of my hyper granulation. Additionally their requirement of sending an image of the area through unencrypted email feels like it should be breaking some sort of privacy law.
Overall Canadians deserve more public options. From what I’ve heard from the nurses who treated my hyper granulation the Vancouver program sounds like a good alternative. Although I believe the surgeon only does that part time.
