Why did they not print the whole of ‘Affecting’ on a new line, that’s bothering me
It’s true, I’m conscious of avoiding silence.
Music works when I’m working on a task that requires focus, but I need something more engaging when cooking, for example, like spoken word - podcasts, audiobooks, movies, YouTube.
Thanks for the links, will have a look
I have a tracking setup for spotify. I listen to music during work most of the day, typically between 11-17 with peaks at 1pm. Average at 40-60k minutes a year. Longest session being around 11 hours.
It helps me focus. But I’d be interested in seeing that study.
That’s a cornstalk cut, duh
TVs I’ve come across are such displeasure to use, it’s incredible
If that’s true - lan for your own content with network isolation and ripping out the WiFi antenna, I guess?? I hate this
Year of the factory. You’ll see me in January again (maybe)
Putting used oil into food when it’s not even good enough for frying anymore doesn’t seem like a recipe for success.
Recycling is fair enough.
I’ve just had a DHL package today.
I have a camera doorbell- very prominent on the door, and the button lights up as someone approaches.

Did anyone actually care about the casting?

Using Jira is actually something I dread every day.
Knowing I have to go through the list of tasks and projects, where each click means another few seconds of staring blankly at the screen as it loads.
In an age where I’m used to every interaction having a near instant reaction, using Jira feels like peeling potatoes with a butter knife.
I understood that it is comfortable, but not good for posture, as it weakens the muscles by disuse, whereas kneeling chairs do the opposite.
I have no sources to substantiate this.
I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you’re not stupid or trying to troll.
Introverts’ social batteries recharge when alone (generalising).
The joke is that they’re in the cool-down period.
It really isn’t very complicated.
If you still don’t get it and are an extrovert, imagine how you’d feel when forced to be alone (by your friends, of all people) - which is a mirror of forcing the opposite to socialise.
They’re still innovating, especially when it comes to shareholder profits
Gorilla produces two main categories: high drop resistance, and high scratch resistance.
It’s not really possible to have both (hard vs flexible).
Same, the only downside is that I can never go back.
It’s an outdated argument.
There’s both quality and crappy stuff coming from China.
That’s a werewolf kitten, you can’t fool me
