The full quote for better context:

“Attacks and doxing make me personally MORE likely to support stronger safety features in chromium, as such acts increase my suspicion that there is significant intimidation from criminals who are afraid this feature will disrupt their illegal and/or unethical businesses, and I don’t give in to criminals or bullies.”

“Bullies”? Oh poor Alphabet Inc., a wee tiny company, being bullied by those evil critics. /s

“Criminals”? Ah, please, not the “I dun unrurrstand, if u got nuffin to hide than it should be fine, r u a criminal?” argument. This has been debunked over and over and over.

Attacks and doxing make me personally MORE likely to support stronger safety features in chromium

In other words you support or oppose features not based on their intrinsic value, but based on irrational non sequitur?

I can sympathise with him and I do not think that people should be doxxing or threatening him, as this is below human dignity and not the right way to fight for/against something. However this still doesn’t change the fact that WEI is against the best interests of the Internet users in general, and that Google is pushing it forward because it wants to enforce its own monopoly and capitalise on it.
