It was a different time and she was more than likely a wig. (p.s. - My gal and I actually think Robert Preston might have been bisexual. But only he *and anyone he slept with if he did sleep with both sides* would ever know. Freddie was 100% pan. It wasn’t a relationship of convenience. That’s on record, actually. I recall an interview where he said that she was probably of the greatest loves of his life.
