Is it because they are all corrupt and/or ineffective? Or is it the voters’ fault? Clearly, it’s the voters who are wrong.

I agree, it’s pretty clear that US is no longer a functioning state. What a lot of people don’t realize is that a collapse is not an instantaneous event that happens overnight. It’s more of a death by a thousand paper cuts. Things just keep getting worse each and every day, every time you tune in there’s more bad news, more riots, disasters, unrest, etc. Yet, life goes on, you adapt, and keep going, and things just keep falling apart around you.
